Has responsibility for maintaining accounting, cost, and record-keeping functions.
Maintains plant administrative records to include payroll and training records, as well as, the customer call log, vendor files and the paint product sales price builder, standard cost master and product certifications.
Receives, enters, and invoices customer orders in D365.
Completes production orders in D365.
Plans raw material needs and creates purchase orders and posts incoming material and supply receivers in D365 and reports all discrepancies.
Creates and maintains BOMs and batch sheets and reports discrepancies.
The Paint plant is in Sanderson, FL.
Duties include:
1.
Assists the daily interaction with customers; provides information, product delivery dates and adjustments, address customer concerns and provide solutions to customer problems, receive telephone orders, maintain customer telephone log and take follow-up action on product inquires.
2.
Manages purchases for the facility and products, including but not limited to raw material, prefinished goods, operating supplies, and office supplies.
3.
Acts as a secondary liaison for company policy matters for plant employees.
Secondary point of contact for Human Resource issues in the plant.
(Back up to the Plant Manager).
4.
Responsible for purchasing, shipping & receiving, quoting, and customer service inquiries.
5.
Utilize standard office procedures related to accounting, record-keeping, and inventory management.
6.
Maintain accurate electronic data in day-to-day functions utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and personal computers.
7.
Prepare and distribute financial and operational information for use by management and staff to assist in the monitoring and controlling costs.
8.
Provide effective communication with internal and the plant's primary external customers, FDC and other state departments.
9.
Assists in processing and communicating personnel policies, procedures, benefits, and other Human Resource issues.
Enforces safety regulations.
10.
Manage factory inventory, completing cycle counts per company policy.
11.
Understands Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for the plant.
12.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager.
